Deposits for bookings
In order to secure your booking, a $30 deposit is required for each of the grooming services below. Any add-ons will not incur an additional deposit. Recurring bookings will only be charged a deposit for the first appointment.

Your deposit will be credited to your customer account and this amount will be deducted from the cost of your scheduled groom(s). The remainder of your balance must be paid in full in The Fur Salon after your pet has received their service.
15% discount for two or more pets
Enjoy 15% off Groom Room and Purrfect Pamper services when you book multiple pets within the same online booking. This can be done by ticking the checkbox against multiple grooming services on the "Select Services" page, before you select the appointment time. If you're unsure, use the details below to contact us and we'll help you with your booking. This discount is not valid on other services or products.
$10 Junior Furologist discount
Enjoy a $10 discount on Shampoodle, Dapper Doggo & Ulti-Mutt services when performed by a Junior Furologist.
Rescheduling and service changes
If you cannot attend the appointment you have booked, please contact us to reschedule the appointment.
If you reschedule your booking or change the service booked more than 48 hours before your appointment, you will not have to pay any additional deposit.
We do not allow any changes within 48 hours of the appointment.
Cancellations and no shows
If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be refunded your full deposit.
If you do not show up for your appointment or make a cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment. Arrivals later than 15 minutes past their appointment time will be considered late.
If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you but we may not have enough time to provide your pet with the service you have booked. In these situations, our Furologists will offer you an alternative service that they can complete in the remaining time. If you choose not to accept this alternative, we will consider this a late cancellation and you will forfeit your deposit.
Pet drop off & pick up
Pets will be housed securely on site and may be dropped off no more than 1 hour prior to your appointment. We will notify you once your pet's appointment has finished and you must pick them up no later than 1 hour after this time.
Pets left in the salon outside of this timeframe will be charged a day care rate of $20 per hour.
Health & wellbeing
Whilst we will take every care when looking after your pet, as their owner, you assume full responsibility for assessing the suitability of your pet to be groomed based on their health history and age.
Terms of service
At The Fur Salon, our experienced Furologists will recommend a service to optimise the health and wellbeing of your fur-baby, as this is our top priority. If after consultation, and in exceptional circumstances, you do not wish to proceed with the recommended service the Furologists reserve the right to not perform the service and your deposit will be refunded.
Such exceptional circumstances include those where your pet’s coat is too matted to perform a regular groom but you refuse to have your pet shaved, or where you have repeatedly disregarded our Furologist’s advice to regularly brush your pet and have brought them to the salon with extremely matted coats more than once.
